With Late Score, Bobcats Beat Gators
The Palm Beach Gardens HS Gators could not turn a fine performance from right fielder Marty McQueen into a win. Instead, the Cy-Fair HS Bobcats prevailed, 5-4. McQueen was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Cy-Fair HS reliever Daniel Davis picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tom Church took the loss. The save went to George McKay, his 8th this season.

Cy-Fair HS took a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when David Armstrong hit a clutch grand slam home run to bring Bobcats fans to their feet.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Armstrong told the Cy-Fair HS Times.

The Bobcats sit in 4th place in the Eastern League Deep South Conference with a record of 24-21.
