Cheetahs Keep Losing, Drop 5-4 Contest to Benedictine Prep HS
Benedictine Prep HS and Mobile Christian HS duked it out and the Infantrymen came out victorious.

In a tight contest at Goochland Ballpark, the Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen edged the Mobile Christian HS Cheetahs by the score of 5-4. Benedictine Prep HS right fielder Jack Crowley, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Alex Thompson earned the save for Benedictine Prep HS, his 1st.

With Benedictine Prep HS trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Crowley hit a fastball from Jim Allen for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Infantrymen ahead, 4-3.

Benedictine Prep HS manager Ray Hughes called it "a pretty good win."

The win puts the Infantrymen at 23-17, while the Cheetahs drop to 11-29.
