Walk-Off Seals 23rd Victory for Ligers
The Blanchard HS Ligers topped the Central HS Wildcats by a score of 11-10 in 13 innings. Leading the way was first baseman Mitch Miller. Miller went 2-4 with a home run and 4 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Ligers. Blanchard HS reliever Tom Jones got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Jamie Edwards was tagged with the loss. The loss makes Central HS 22-17.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Blanchard HS shortstop Mark Sherman, facing Jamie Edwards, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Ligers the 11-10 win.

"No one can call baseball boring," said Ligers manager Ray Collins. "Not after a game like that."
