James River HS took on Benedictine Prep HS in front of a lively crowd.

In the 7-2 James River HS win over Benedictine Prep HS, the impact of Sean Jacobson was substantial. Jacobson, who is tied for 7th in the EL in hits with 46, was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Picking up his 1st save was 17-year old left-handed pitcher Mauro Parra.

The Rapids got a big at-bat from left fielder Simon Butler. For the game, Butler went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave James River HS a 4-2 lead.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Butler.
