Collins Lifts Infantrymen to 7-5 Triumph
At Rapids Ballpark, the James River HS Rapids and Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen defeated the James River HS Rapids, 7-5, at Rapids Ballpark. Benedictine Prep HS second baseman George Collins had a superb performance. He went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Benedictine Prep HS sits in third place in the Eastern League Atlantic Conference at 20-14.

With Benedictine Prep HS leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Collins hit a changeup from Chris Armstrong for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Infantrymen ahead, 5-0.

"I like our moxie," said Infantrymen manager Ray Hughes.
