Boucher goes 3-for-4 to Fuel Hillers Offense
Thanks in large part to third baseman Ralph Boucher, the Union City HS Hillers beat the DeSoto Central HS Panthers, 6-3. Boucher was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The Hillers, at 24-11, sit in first place in the Eastern League Atlantic Conference.

Union City HS used the timely hitting of Ralph Aldridge to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hillers on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

Aldridge said afterward that "winning is the goal."
