Hillers Reel In 7-2 Win
The Union City HS Hillers knocked off the Mobile Christian HS Cheetahs, 7-2, at Union City HS & Athletic Complex. Ralph Boucher was a big reason Union City HS won. The third baseman was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Mack Vinson. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-0. With the victory, the Hillers record stands at 22-9.

With Union City HS leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Boucher hit a run-scoring single off Mobile Christian HS hurler Millard Washington. It was the 24th hit of the season for Boucher and put his team ahead, 3-1.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Hillers manager Troy Sparks.
