Galló, South Caldwell HS Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Oliver Galló was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Spartans Ballpark. In fact, the South Caldwell HS Spartans right-hander was instrumental in his team's 1-0 victory over the Carrollton HS Brawlers. The third-place Spartans lifted their record to 18-12.

The standout performance belonged to 16-year-old Galló. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Spartans. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Brawlers, striking out 5 and scattering 3 hits over 7.1 innings. Galló is now 2-0 on the season.

"When Oliver is on, he can really move the ball around," said South Caldwell HS manager Heath Townsend.
