The Sacramento Deltas topped the Portland Chinook, 5-3, at Devils Ballpark. Sacramento first baseman Pedro Flores was a spark plug for the offense. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Carlos Hernández earned the win for Sacramento. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 13-8. With the victory, the Deltas upped their record to 88-73.

Flores had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 circle change from Yi-xiao Ta, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Deltas a 5-3 lead. It was the 33rd home run of the year for Flores.
