In a low-scoring contest between the Victoria Orcas and the Sacramento Deltas, Anthony MacDonald, who is tied for 10th in the HUM in wins with 11, proved to be the difference. The Victoria right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Orcas win. René Peña, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. Victoria has now won 3 in a row.

Bob Smith, who is tied for 4th in the HUM in stolen bases with 42, came through for Victoria with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. The second baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
