Sacramento Deltas pitcher Yub Issa was in top form, leading his team past the Victoria Orcas, 4-1. In 6.2 innings, Issa surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 5. He allowed 1 run. With the win, Sacramento upped its record to 78-65.
Sacramento catcher Álex Pacheco contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 30th hit of the season and put the Deltas ahead, 3-0.
