Pedro Flores did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Sacramento Deltas from being beaten, 8-7, to the Victoria Orcas at Devils Ballpark. Flores was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The winner was Minoru Nakamura in relief. His record improves to 3-9. Chris Puddifoot took the loss. Miguel Hernández earned the save, his 24th in 33 tries.

Hunter Greene, who is tied for 8th in the HUM in stolen bases with 30, had a timely hit in the top of the fifth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, the Victoria shortstop hit a 2-run single. That put the Orcas in front, 3-2.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Greene.
