The Scottish Claymores picked up a win at The Castle, knocking off the Arlington Bureaucrats, 7-1. Starting pitcher Thomas Connolly played a key role in the triumph. The slumping Bureaucrats have dropped 6 in a row.

Pedro Soto was 1 for 4 with a walk for Scottish. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dennis Villarreal. It was his 11th walk of the season.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Connolly. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
