Sosa Now 4-2 After Beating Hitmen
|
Not everyone stuck through the 47-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
The Havana Leones topped the New Jersey Hitmen, 3-0, in Imperial League action at Campos Peloteros. The standout performance belonged to Havana pitcher and New York, native Jack Sosa. The save went to Pablo Salinas, his 7th this season.
Sosa, who was born in New York, threw 75 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Jack looked very determined to have a good game," said Havana manager José Díaz. "He was totally focused and he produced."
Havana has now won 3 in a row.
