Ligers Knock Off Tigers at Tigers Ballpark

Pitcher Arturo Lara was sensational for the Blanchard HS Ligers in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Katy HS Tigers. Lara earned the win. Don West locked down his 7th save. With this game in the books, Blanchard HS is 15-11, Katy HS 12-14.
Blanchard HS won the game in part because of Mitch Pressley. The catcher ripped a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Ligers ahead, 2-0. For the game, Pressley had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pressley told the Blanchard HS Gazette.
