Cavaliers Take Down Bobcats, 4-1

East Rutherford HS Cavaliers starter Evan Gould turned in an exceptional performance against the Cy-Fair HS Bobcats at East Rutherford HS Grounds, resulting in a East Rutherford HS win, 4-1. East Rutherford HS, now 17-9, holds down first place in the Eastern League Atlantic Conference.
East Rutherford HS got a game-changing hit from Gregg Nolan. The first baseman blasted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a winner.
"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Nolan told the East Rutherford HS Today. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
