Rapids Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
Robert Robinson left his imprint on the 7-2 James River HS win against the Sarasota HS Sailors. Robinson, who is the top prospect in the Rapids organization, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Mauro Parra. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The Rapids now have a mark of 9-14.

Dave Adams hit a run-scoring double off Edwin Watson in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Rapids in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Adams had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Robinson told the James River HS News.
