The rain did not keep London and Kentucky from finishing their game.

In a low-scoring affair between the London Underground and the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, pitcher António Trujillo was the difference between victory and defeat. The London left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Underground win. Cecil Langley got the save, his 19th in 23 chances.

London right fielder Joseph Barry contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 110th hit of the season and put the Underground ahead, 3-1.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Trujillo.

The Underground, at 77-66, have now won 5 straight.
