The Niihama-shi Ghosts racked up a win at Elderberry Field, bumping off the Palm Springs Codgers, 6-3. Dave López, who started for Niihama-shi, pitched effectively for his team. Earning his 36th save for Niihama-shi was Curt Merrill. Niihama-shi is now 83-59.
