Neo-Tokyo shortstop José Pérez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Reno at Washoe Field. Pérez went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. James Berridge earned the win, while 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jorge Salinas took the loss for Neo-Tokyo. Anthony Soame was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 35 of 39 save opportunities.

The Zephyrs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Iván Martínez. For the game, Martínez went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 34th double of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.
