In a low-scoring contest between the Tacoma Loggers and the Sacramento Deltas, David Truscott was the X factor. The Tacoma right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The win went to Cisco Medina in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Juan Otero took the loss. The win puts Tacoma at 64-39 this season.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Deltas allowed the Loggers to score the winning run.

"David was electric," said Tacoma manager Luke Hall.
