Thrilling Victory Pushes Sailors Win Streak to 6
The 6-5 Sarasota HS win over Cy-Fair HS was due in large part to Brian Watson. The Sailors center fielder went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Vaughan McLaghlan finished to wrap up his 6th save. Sarasota HS sits in second place in the Eastern League Gulf Conference at 12-4.

An important at-bat for Sarasota HS came with one out in the top of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Watson hit a 2-run double, which contributed to the Sailors win.
