Jones, Cavaliers Too Much for Knights
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 16-year old first baseman Paul Jones, the East Rutherford HS Cavaliers defeated the West Lauderdale HS Knights, 9-1. Today's win puts East Rutherford HS at 7-8, while West Lauderdale HS falls to 7-8.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Jones hit a 3-run home run off Robert Allen. It propelled the Cavaliers into the lead, 4-1.

Jones offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
