The Mobile Christian HS Cheetahs clobbered the Blanchard HS Ligers, 12-2, at Mobile Ballpark. Mobile Christian HS first baseman Paul Young led the onslaught. He went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Dustin Bailey closed it out for his 1st save. The win makes Mobile Christian HS 5-8.

With Mobile Christian HS leading 4-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Young came up to bat against Blanchard HS pitcher Jack Brooks. Young hit a fastball to left for a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Cheetahs on top, 8-0.
