Annapolis HS Jaguars pitcher Ken Parkinson was in fine form, leading his team past the Seton Hall Prep Pirates, 1-0. Santiago Rodríguez locked down his 2nd save. The 6th-place Jaguars own a record of 3-8.

The Pirates had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Jaguars going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old catcher Sean Shepherd came to the plate. Shepherd hit a solo home run on a first pitch sinker from Seton Hall Prep hurler Derek Fletcher. It was Shepherd's 1st home run of the year.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Shepherd.
