The Shin Seiki Evas topped the Niihama-shi Ghosts, 6-2, in Sovereign League action at Oikake Maze. The standout performance belonged to Shin Seiki pitcher and Paterson, New Jersey, native Jonathan Huffman. Huffman yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-4. Shin Seiki is now 42-28.
