The San Juan Sharks converted a terrific effort from starter Miguel Cordero into a win over the Guaynabo Commandos at Ballpark of San Juan. The Sharks won the game by a final score of 4-2. The winner was Cordero. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Jesús Salazar. The San Juan win streak is now 3 games.
In the bottom of the third, Foster Silva delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the San Juan left fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Sharks in front, 4-2.
