Predators Grind Out 2-0 Win
Ron Gómez, who led the SJWL-PR WL in wins with 8 in 2027, was in top form in a tight contest between Bayamon and Toa Baja. The Predators right-hander helped his team beat the Gringos, 2-0. Gómez got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Paul Montejano closed the game out for Bayamon, earning his 8th save.

Dan Cervantes had a big run-scoring double for the Predators in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Bayamon leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a circle change from César Rodríguez and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Predators ahead, 2-0.

"I felt good out of the gates," said Gómez.

The second-place Predators have won 4 in a row.
