The Aguadilla Roadrunners defeated the Guaynabo Commandos, 10-4, at Ballpark of Guaynabo. Aguadilla was led by 2042 Newcomer of the Year Award winner Bartolo Lugo, who was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was Manuel Piñal. His record now stands at 1-0. The left-hander went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits for the Roadrunners. The triumph makes Aguadilla 7-3, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2042.

Jason Galindo delivered a big hit for Aguadilla. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Roadrunners ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
