Leones fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Havana Leones stopped the Gloucester Fishermen, 8-6, at Campos Peloteros. The Leones got a big game from Ricardo Mateo, who was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Munemitsu Murakami picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Colm Stanbra suffered the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Mateo hit a fastball from Colm Stanbra for a 2-run home run. The Leones, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"That's what I love about baseball," said Mateo. "No matter how good or how bad you did, you get to wake up the next day and start all over."

With the loss, Gloucester drops to 3-5.
