Late Rally by Commandos Locks Up 9-4 Win
The Guaynabo Commandos knocked off the Aguadilla Roadrunners, 9-4, at Ballpark of Aguadilla. José Reyes was a big reason Guaynabo won. The center fielder went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Stan Norman was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Héctor Vargas. The loss drops the Roadrunners to 5-1.

Guaynabo used the timely hitting of Bob Guzmán to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Commandos on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Guzmán, "and then get after it again."
