Knight Throws 6-Hitter En Route to 9-1 Deltas Win
At Devils Ballpark, the Long Beach Oilers and Sacramento Deltas were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Sacramento Deltas starter Bill Knight turned in a top-notch performance against the Long Beach Oilers at Devils Ballpark. The result was a win for the Deltas, 9-1. The victory gives the Deltas a record of 50-43.

Knight, the winner, is now 10-2, after putting the clamps on the Long Beach offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 6 hits, while collecting 8 Ks.
