Ogg Dominant in Long Beach Win
|
Long Beach Oilers starter Kieran Ogg pitched a good game to help his team take down the Sacramento Deltas, 1-0. Picking up his 19th save was 29-year old right-handed pitcher Senzo Matsuo. The defeat makes Sacramento 48-43.
Ogg made it look easy. He scattered 5 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 4-11.
"Kieran knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Long Beach manager Gerardo Vargas.
