Dave Robertson, who is tied for 9th in the IL in wins with 6, propelled his team to victory over the Havana Leones. The final score was 4-3, London. The third-place Underground improved to 28-34.
London took a 4-3 lead on Miguel Fernández's 10th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Fernández hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Havana pitcher Pablo Salinas visibly frustrated.
"We have a lot of confidence in Dave," said London manager Jorge Ornelas.
