P Sadayoshi ‘Yoshi’ Yamamoto sold to Kure

The Tempe Knights transferred the contract of  27 year old starting pitcher Sadayoshi ‘Yoshi’ Yamamoto to the Kure Arsenal. The knights received $750,000 in return for the Japanese righthander.

Yoshi was born in Rikuzentakata, Japan on May 23, 1992. He had a 5.13 ERA in the Majors and a 3.77 ERA in AAA overall. He enjoyed the states but longed to be home with friends and family. But now since he has returned home, he is having second thoughts and is very unhappy. It may take an adjustment period for Yamamoto to get reaquainted to his Japanese culture.

This move by Tempe not only puts the much needed cash into their bank account, but it also frees up a roster spot for further off-season moves. The Knights organization wishes Yoshi the best of luck in his new league.
