Good afternoon baseball fans. It has been a busy off-season for the Seoul Crushers and many other teams, but we have some strange news to report today. What may be the biggest news for the Kure Arsenal is that P Yugoro “Checkmate” Chouda (#22) was spotted in Kure City, Hiroshima. Some fans stated that they had seen Chouda at a local doctor’s office around 10:00 A.M. this morning. This happens to be the same doctor who treats all Kure Arsenal players and coaches. When I had a chance to call and see if Chouda had actually been there, I was told that no player named Chouda had a physical, but a person by the name Yoda had a physical.
When we asked Kure Arsenal GM Aaron Tassano, he stated the following: “We admit neither any meetings nor non-meetings with Chouda. He’s a baseball player, and a very good one, but beyond that, I just can’t comment right now.” When we spoke to Seoul Crushers owner Mark Kierstead, he stated, “I have no idea what you are talking about. Chouda and I have been fishing in the lakes and streams around my house for the past few days. That’s all I have to say.”
This seems to be all we are going to get out of those two. I am Tricia Takanawa, and something smells fishy. This is the Takanawa Times.
