Another year has come, and Spring Training is upon us. We are ready for whatever the season has to throw at us. Through pain, through suffering, and through triumph. As we approach the season, let us take a look at the probable Opening Day roster for our beloved Bureaucrats:
Catchers:
Will Carrol
Harley Board
Infielders:
Haywood Riley
Kaleb Felton
Ramon Clemente
Mike Britt
Hirosha Inoue
Dave Dundee
Outfielders:
Ric Whitney
Jim Banks
Walter Daniel
Tetsuo Adachi
Caspar Gray
DH:
Rowan Stuart
Starters:
Santiago Garcia
Barney Swanson
Francisco Sutrez
Atilio Gaivo
Shinzo Ito
Bullpen:
Motoyuki Hatsutori
Jay Nunn
Alberto Caballero
Julio Gonzalez
Ryobe Kobayashi
Noritada Akiyama
You may have noticed that Motoyuki Hatsutori has been moved to the bullpen. After 8 seasons of dedication and sweat and tears given to the organization as a starter, he has been moved to the bullpen. Perhaps he is better served there, as his velocity and stuff isn't what it used to be. There are also many new faces, such as Walter Daniel, Rowan Stuart, and a new ensemble in the bullpen. Our sports experts expects this roster to have a record of 65-97, respectable, but by no means a playoff contender. Look for games this season to be competitive and fun. Though we may be in dark times now, the light at the end of the tunnel grows near.
