A Quick look at the Fishermen’s Menu

Now that Spring Training is warming-up the hunger of Fishfans, and all of the Fishmen are starting to get back in shape, a team run-through seems to be a reasonable side dish for the feast everyone knows as a new season. Among the table settings, fans will see many attractive Entrées along with a few Side Dishes that could become the flavors of the month if cooked correctly.
The Entrée list begins with a fancy veteran dish that produced a savory ERA of 2.92 last season. Accompanying the ERA, a coinsurer will be able to see a generous portion of 184 Ks and a winning percentage of .667. These numbers create the appearance of a well bred salmon suitable to create a standard which every team has to consider.
The second dish to be presented tonight is one of exotic beginnings. This sailfish is still roaming the offshore currents looking for the shoals of fish to feed off for a 300 plus season, but don’t loose interest too quickly. He has one of the greatest work ethics on the field and has a scouting report that places him at the top of the right fielders in the league. With time and patience, this dish could be presented as one of the more sought after catches on the Fishmen’s’ menu to success.
Next in line is a great example of a fresh-water trout. Sever after a 3.62 ERA in 56 outings, this course offers a long lasting opportunity for the Fishmen’s future at the mid-relief spot. Expect more innings and more wins with this impressive fish on the table.
As for the side dishes, we will look at three young and still developing menu items, two of which swim inside the infield and one trolls the deeps of the outfield. All have the potential to create an offensive as well as a defensive show this season, however, the head chef is still worried that they will be a bit ripe to present to his audience of enthusiastic Fishfans. As for the shallow swimmers, one is from the coasts of the greatest sea power in history and the other captures the hearts of the women fans with his abilities to dance the middle of the infield with his Latin styles. Our deep dweller, on the other hand, comes from the land of the rising sun and guarantees dedication and hard work. All three are served together in a rich sauce of hope and expectation.
If you find it hard to choose a dish which matches your desire for a winning team, just look closer at the park and buy your tickets. This way you are guaranteed a seat at the table and more choices from the menu!
