Mitch flew through the Padres system after being taken 4th overall in the 2015 draft! Possessing very good contact skills and defense, Sparks will anchor this Padres infield for years!

Jeez.. flew through the system is a bit of an overstatement.. Sure seems my guy was RUSHED through the system.. Didn't even have a batting average over .225 in either A or AA before being advanced, then brief stop in AAA with still no great batting average. I definitely thought he'd be hitting for a higher average!

I think he'll be anchoring a utility infield/bench position for years unless he develops a lot more!
