I'm missing enough night actions that I'm going to give those of you who've yet to submit another day. Please get them in ASAP. If I get them quickly, I'll try to get Day 2 up on schedule.

As always, thanks for hosting Frank! Ha, it was short lived but perhaps the Townies will get a chance to win one. They are off to a great start!

I was just going to comment on the leaping picture myself. Such a neat shot.

These Lego models are frigging great and just keep getting better. The detail in them are fantastic.

How was the vertical portion of cross in the chapel behind the altar made? Flat pieces stacked in the opening vertically?

And the stained glass windows: Are those similar stacks of clear 1x1 wedges that aren't fully connected?

Both of them look great and are very clever tricks I hadn't thought of before.

Glad you guys like these. It's quite fun trying to come up with interesting things to display.

Harold is actually supported from behind with a long Lego tube, but you can't see the support because it's blocked by his body and the angle of the shot. You can see the shadow of the support on the door to which it's attached.

There are some Lego bricks that have a stud on the side as well as the top. I used these to attach plates (flat pieces with studs on them) and the blue clear tiles (flat pieces without studs on them) in a vertical form. Lego is designed such that 5 plates stacked are the same as 2 bricks wide, so the cross is placed in the middle of the 5 vertical plate assembly.

They're clear cheese wedges stacked in there and simply held in place by pressure. I had to build a backing wall behind the windows while stacking them so they wouldn't fall out and would lie in the same vertical plane. That was removed when the piece was added on top to hold them all tightly together.

I had actually never done any of these techniques before building the church, but I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. This is by far the most complicated things I've ever built myself. I have found in previous games that building additional sets for side scenes was awfully time consuming, so I figured I'd just build one big set at the start this time and have everything take place there.

I was just going to comment on the leaping picture myself, and then I was just going to comment on how I was just going to comment on the leaping picture myself.

Since I was beaten twice, I'll comment on Frank's cleverness for picking up on Harold's clown comment. Eat it, Harold!

Day 5 is now up! Sorry for the long delay. I had a bunch of family things going on the past several days, including last minute preparations for my son's 2 year birthday party.

Very nice! We lucked out there. Good thing I listened to Harold!

I'll be very eager to see how all the night moves went to get the breakdown of what exactly was going on with that map....

Thanks again to Frank for putting these things together. They are obviously a lot of work, but the details really makes them a lot of fun and very immersive.
