Maybe it's a buy low, sell high sort of thing. Maybe trying to sow a little confusion about what they do at #2. I don't know.

I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt with DePodesta involved. But... I am not a fan of this move.

Bringing on a guy who had locker room issues sounds destined to fail. That said, I don't believe he's ever shown up to a team meeting drunk, so he's an improvement....which explains all we need to know about how low the bar is in Cleveland right now.
