Hey guys
Just wanted to drop by and say hi. I have missed you all even the Evil Empire
. I am moving to china for work for a few years and hopefully longer. the pay is over the top and when they pay for everything else I could not say no. I have stopped by and read a few articles here and there. I was looking for a player I renamed and could not find him... maybe he retired after HS or COL. Ichiro Takanawa was in HS last I played and was looking to see if he became anything. :)

Re: Hey guys
Hey Mark, nice to hear from you! I definitely miss having you around.
I have spent a good amount of time in China, and it isn't that bad for an ex-patriot like yourself.
I know a few people who have moved from the West to China, and they all seem to like it. It takes a certain mind set to endure there, but there is opportunity for the right person. I would definitely advise you to learn the language as quickly as you can.
I was able to find Ichiro "Little Big" Takanawa. He is a 1B for Oregon State in the US. My scout has him at 5/8/8/3/4.

China is a very large untapped market for PEBA.
Maybe an expansion franchise could work?...

Re: Hey guys
Yeah I will be in Qingdao, China and they will be paying for free Mandarin lessons, I also had a buddy get me a copy of Rosetta Stone Mandarin so I have 3 weeks to practice. Yeah spending 5 years living in Okinawa Has prepared me to go to China, I hope to stay as long as possible as I prefer living overseas.
Good to hear you guys miss me lol. I will keep you all updated with everything as it happens.

Re: Hey guys
Hi Mark. Thanks for dropping by. We didn't get a chance to play in the same league I still do remember our conversations about the Seoul Crushers. Good to hear you are doing well. Enjoy your stay over in China! I can only imagine how it is to live in a foreign land for an extended period of time.
