The new update is ready to go (no picture update until after the Winter Meetings)! And hardly late at at that. "Come Hell or high water," I always say! Not that I was ever worried...

And may I extend my congratulations to the Coal Sox on their big signing! George Riley will be entertaining West Virginia fans for years to come. ;-D

Oh man! I hadn't checked the update before I read that. Makes me completely forget I have a final exam at 8:30 tomorrow morning. :D

Tonight's update will likely not be out until midnight. You would not believe how much there is to process! I'll post with news as soon as possible.

The post-Winter Meetings update is live, as is the latest picture pack. All CP rewards EXCEPT Winter Ball improvements have been implemented.

For those who expanded stadium capacity, remember that you owe a 750-word article about your ballpark improvements. Some of you have already submitted that. I'll get to posting articles on the homepage tomorrow.

I'm fairly confident everything is in over. If you do find an error of some sort, please PM me but be aware that I may not respond until tomorrow. I'm off to have a bite to eat and decompress for the night.

Thanks again everyone for making this such a great experience.

I saw this mentioned somewhere today, by NJ, but I think it was in chat. In regards to anti-virus software slowing down updates. I have Norton, but I shut it off to try it anyway.

HUGE difference in download speed. The download of the league file is rocking now. It used to typically tke 30+ minutes. That has been cut down to about 12 minutes with Norton shut off.

There's going to be a hefty workload during tonight's sim as a number of technical issues get addressed. Because of this, Winter Ball improvements may have to be pushed back to Wednesday's sim. I'm still hoping to get everything entered in, but I do want to make sure I get the update out before it gets too late.

Hopefully tonight's sim won't be overly delayed, but if it is you know why. Make sure to have your exports in before 8 PM ET... I'll be importing at 8:00 on the dot to get a jump on all the necessary work!

By the way, don't forget to note the Calzones' tip posted right above this message. Try turning off your virus scanner just while you're importing/exporting and see if it speeds things up. I've noticed quite an improvement myself while doing this.

Yeah, Winter Ball improvements are definitely going to have to wait until Wednesday. A large amount of things rolled around during this cycle and I want to make sure I don't rush through the important WB improvements and possibly make a mistake. I promise I'll get them included in Wednesday's update.

We'll be shooting for a new update at around 10:00-10:30 PM ET tonight. See you then!
