RIOTS IN YUMA, ARROYOS LEAD SOVEREIGN LEAGUE!

16 April 2040–Rioting has broken out in the small desert town of Yuma, Arizona. The local baseball team, the Arroyos, have won 8 of their first 12 games giving them the lead in the Sovereign League of the Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance. No one knows at this early date the precise cause of the rioting, but hundreds of citizens poured onto the streets of old town Yuma tonight to either celebrate the sudden success of their ball club or to express their emotional shock at having a winning team in Yuma.

The streets are chaotic tonight. Some looting has occurred. The Yuma police have made no attempt to intercede. No one knows what is happening or why. Further reports to follow. Stay tuned.
