The League of the Rising Sun currently has 12 amazing and talented teams. Behind these teams are owners who want to make money and more importantly bring more fans in for the best baseball experience the LRS has to offer. Kuwana Steel Dragon owner Michael Chance and GM Mark Kierstead teased all season long about stadium expansion. Well fans we got what they promised. Kuwana added 5,000 more seats in the new Kudo’s area of the ballpark. They moved the Jumbotron to center field and added seats to left field and center field alike. This could add $1,000,000 million more in a single season just in seat purchases. This does not add in the additional purchase of team gear, refreshments and fine dining.

As promised before every home game Taro Kudo will have a meet and great in the sections of the addition seats. Fans will have to get to the stadium 2-3 hours prior. This will include free photos and complimentary bobble head of Kudo. This new Kudo experience will go to ever new season ticket holder for each appropiated section.

GM Kierstead promised change and a solid rebuild process in the near future, as nothing is better than adding thousands of seats to Steel Fire stadium. The only issue I see is filling all those seats as a losing team. Maybe they can keep fans coming in droves without issue. We have next season to find out.

Across the table, Chris Puddiworth, towering even while seated, tilted his head and raised an eyebrow, […]
