“Put a Face to the Checkbook” Contest Finalists

24 entries were received for the “Put a Face to the Checkbook” contest, which allowed PEBA and LRS teams to define their owners as we prepare to migrate to OOTP 11. The biographies were all wonderfully inventive. It was hard to whittle the field to just a few standouts, but in the end, four entries were chosen as potential contest winners. You can read the finalists’ entries by clicking on the links below.

Once you’ve read the bios, please cast your vote for your favorite entry in this thread. Opinions will be solicited from both league members and the OOTP community. The winner of the contest will receive beta access to the in-development indie PC/Mac game Frozen Synapse, plus a free copy of the full version upon its release in early 2011. Frozen Synapse is already receiving great advance press. Having played it myself, I can say with authority that our contest winner is going to be in for a treat.

And now, introducing our four finalists:

Arlington – Owner Daniel J. Woods

Florida – Owner Drew Streets

Niihama-shi – Owner Akane Kenkyusham

Omaha – Owner Grey Davidson III
