Douglass Coming Back to Tempe

6/1/2008: Tempe, AZ – Tempe GM Chris Van Hauter has announced that the club has reacquired closer Christos Douglass along with SP Pancho García for struggling  MR Rafael Pérez and RF José Maldonado.  Douglass will immediately take over the closer's role and García will try to help the struggling Calexico, who have started horribly.  Van Hauter states that, “I predicted that the Knights will be .500 this year and with Douglass back we should come close to that goal.”  However, Van Hauter is not so happy with Tempe's minor league teams and promises that in about a month the minors will be completely overhauled with a bunch of young talent.

In other news, Markus Hancock was seen apartment hunting in Tempe which confirms that he will be without a doubt the number 1 pick in the upcoming Amateur Draft.
