MD-JPN AAA News: The Offseason Begins
Thursday, October 6th, 2011: It's a bittersweet time for baseball fans -- the joy of having watched the final MD-JPN AAA championship game being played is balanced by the realization that it's all over for another season. So begins the offseason, where the winners bask in the glow of their success while the losers take stock of their performance and begin to lay plans for next year. Whether or not those plans will bear fruit is something that only time will tell.

Sun & Moon Unification to Ikari
Tuesday, October 4th, 2011: It was a storybook year for the Ikari Warriors as they closed out a 3-2 series win over the Kyoto Rodans to claim the 2011 Sun & Moon Unification. They wrapped it up with a 6-3 victory to cap an incredible season and brought home their 1st championship.

The Warriors manager gave his view of the series, "We had a lot of things going for us, offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win a Sun & Moon Unification."

"We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year," said the Rodans manager. "They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

During the Eastern Sky regular season Ikari put up a 79-41 record and finished first.
