Coqui Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 30th, 2029 A postseason berth was in the plans for the San Juan Coqui, but the team has been narrowly edged out and will not qualify. "We just couldn't quite do it," manager Sergio Manetti said. The Coqui have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 22 years as a Planetary Extreme Baseball Alliance franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022. In the last 10 seasons, the Coqui have missed the playoffs 8 times. San Juan has won the Planetary Extreme Championship 2 times in their history. |
