Season Over for Robun Nakao in Manchester Wednesday, September 5th, 2029 The season is finished for Robun Nakao of the Manchester Maulers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Maulers starting pitcher suffered forearm inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Kentucky Thoroughbreds. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. This year Nakao has gone 1-6 with an ERA of 6.50 and has 13 strikeouts in 45.2 innings. |
